Our Story

Jill and I met in Lexington, KY in March of 2009. I was assigned to work in Kentucky for about a year when I met the girl I wanted to marry. In May 2010, I asked Jill to marry me. After she graduated from UK with her 2nd Master’s Degree, the next night we went to a winery for dinner that we had gone to shortly after we began dating.

We walked among the grapes with a glass of wine as the sun was just going down. I took out the ring and got down on one knee and asked Jill to marry me. To my delight, she said yes immediately and we kissed and hugged. Unfortunately, the ring didn’t fit her finger, so she had to wear it on her pinky until we could get it refitted the next day.

Now we want all of you to celebrate with us! We are looking forward to going to Cancun in December with so many friends and family and having a big celebration in Lexington in January. Then we’re looking forward to settling down in Indianapolis in to marital bliss.

Our Wedding

Our wedding date is December 11, 2010 in Cancun, Mexico at 11 a.m. We are getting married at Dreams Cancun resort.

Our Reception

For those friends who can't make it to Cancun with us, we are having a wedding reception on January 8, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa. It is located at 1800 Newtown Pike, Lexington, Kentucky 40511.

We have special room rates held if you plan on spending the night. Just mention the Patterson/Webb reception.
